Andrew Hamilton is an Australian comedian, author, and social media personality known for building his act around his experiences in prison. In 2021, he served four months in two of Sydney's maximum-security prisons for the commercial supply of psychedelic drugs (magic mushrooms and LSD).

​

While incarcerated, he found the transportive power of laughter and decided to pursue comedy upon his release.

He began performing under strict bail conditions that required a parent to accompany him to shows. His debut show, Jokes About the Time I Went to Prison, was critically acclaimed and earned him a Best Newcomer nomination at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He followed this with a successful 2024 show, Shit Bloke, and embarked on a national tour.

 

He is a member of the viral YouTube channels YeahMadTV and "The OG Crew," which have garnered over a billion views collectively.
